I am so excited to go see Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving at the Brooklyn Museum next week (we lucked out and scored some tickets!! Yay!!) . I have always admired her strength, talent and ability to transform her hardships and pain into beautiful art. My life hasn’t been without its major bumps and have dealt with chronic health issues just as Frida did. Art has been my refuge through so many setbacks and also, joys. Maybe that is why so many can relate to her art,
